Cover of The Help
Erika over at Muse is posting about her favorite books this year. Naturally, all sorts of cool people are contributing their book picks in the comments. Mine is The Help by Kathryn Stockett, followed by The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver. Yours?

Thanks for the link up!
I loved THE HELP. It’s being made into a movie, so I can’t wait to see that. I haven’t read THE LACUNA, but I’ll have to check that out.
Have a peaceful and joyous holiday season!
Thanks for the gift of The Help – I have enjoyed sharing it with others as well! It really took a “hold” on me as I have continued to remember parts of the story and even imagine other scenes with the characters. Love you
Let’s see—I’ve been a reading slacker this year, but…
1) Newer titles:
Strength in What Remains – Tracy Kidder
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – Stieg Larrson (yep, followed the tide…)
2) Also loved discovering anew (for me!):
A Walk in the Woods – Bill Bryson
Santiago’s Children – Steve Reifenberg (now at ND’s Kellogg Cntr… every idealist do-good-aspiring college student/grad should read!)
