First legal booze in the US..

It was a challenge to find a bar open after midnight in my little town, but sure enough, that’s me enjoying a well-earned Guinness at a nearly-closed Buffalo Wild Wings at around 12:40 AM. That’s actually my second legal drink- the first was an Irish car bomb, thanks to Joey. All very tasty, and all- FINALLY- legal.

Humorously, before we left the house to procure these beverages, my father pulled out a decades-old bottle of banana rum that a patient had given him. The poor bottle had lived in his dusty workshop, waiting to be free! We enjoyed rum and pineapple-orange juice while watching the “Why is the rum gone?!” scene from Pirates. Daddy was pretty proud of himself ๐Ÿ™‚

After we closed down B-dubs, we came back to the house and sampled my awesome birthday present from my parents:

The celebrations continue tonight. After all, you only become an adult once ๐Ÿ™‚
